Description Family Asteraceae Originating from Holland Calm and elegant, the perfectly named ‘White Swan’ Coneflower can create an air of calm and tranquillity amongst the numerous loud and delightfully brash coneflower varieties. Its gracefully down-swept white petals surround a central dome of green and subtle orange stamens. Furthermore, its elegantly formed blooms, elevated on tall swaying stems, are ideal for planting in large drifts. Their form and striking pure white colour also suit mixed borders and smaller group plantings. The pollinators’ pantry blooms appear all summer into autumn. Easy to grow in light, thin soil in full sun or light shade. Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 1m x 50cm.
