Upright stems bear abundant deep green, upswept elliptical leaves that have pointed tips with a cream coloured mid-rib. Bearing dense panicles of many bright sky blue star-shaped blooms throughout spring and summer, it provides an exceptional spread of colour to the lower levels of planting schemes in any style. In autumn the stems and foliage turn a spectacular deep shade of golden yellow before dying back for the winter. Undemanding in any soil conditions in sun or part shade. Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 50cm x 1m.
