Description Family Plumbaginaceae Originating from UK A big, characterful flowering display for such a small plant, it punches well above its weight in terms of floral impact, with loud and profuse bright cerise pink puff balls of flower in spring, and sporadically throughout summer. Its evergreen carpeting foliage makes a spreading mat of grass like foliage which has a dark bronzy/purple colour above which the clusters of star-shaped flowers are held on long slender stems, making a dense and elegant canopy of blooms well above the foliage. Easy to grow in well drained soil in full sun, and in coastal exposure. Height and spread after 2 – 5 years: 15cm x 30cm
