Description These vintage Swedish drop candles (called droppljus) are made of pure stearin – the highest standard for Swedish candles. Stearin is not petroleum based as parrafin. The burning quality with stearin is superior – with longer burning times and cleaner flames. The 4 in candles have a burn time for 6-7 hours. Fits in standard size taper candle holder. The use of candles in rituals can be traced back to ancient civilizations & one of the earliest recorded uses dates back to ancient Egypt, where they were used in religious ceremonies.
